Parcul Millennium din Peterborough
De Ziua Copilului eu si baiatul meu Alex am facut o calatorie de o zi in orasul Peterborough din provincia Ontario, situat la o distanta de o ora si jumatate de codus de Toronto. Am scris mai multe detalii despre aceasta iesire pe Blog Tango, in cel mai recent articol al meu, Ziua Copilului la Peterborough. In acea zi am vizitat mai multe curiozitati si atractii locale din oras, una dintre ele fiind Parcul Millennium, un spatiu verde de recreere foarte frumos si recomfortant, care se afla pe malul lacului The Little Lake. Mi-a placut atat de mult acest parc, incat m-am hotarat sa-i dedic un articol separat.

Rebekah Price Jewelry
In my previous article I was making an announcement about a jewelry designer sale event – Rebekah Price, a Toronto based jewelry designer, whom I met at a fashion function for the first time last fall. The event would take place at Kultura restaurant downtown of Toronto on Monday June 3rd.
On the said day I went with a friend to Kultura restaurant during our lunch hour to see the exquisite jewelry designs by Rebekah Price, all of them on sale 50% to 75% off retail price. I was particularly interested in buying a statement ring. When we arrived, we were greeted by the designer herself, as well as her PR representative, Jennifer.
Rebekah Price jewelry is absolutely stunning. If I had my ways, I would have bought half of the merchandise displayed on the tables. Necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings – all of them were unbelievably beautiful! The prices were between $50 and $300 for each piece. I came there with my mind made up to buy a statement ring, and this is what I chose – a piece with a deep blue Swarovski stone. Isn’t it gorgeous? I absolutely love it! The ring is adjustable, which means I can wear it on any finger I want, but I prefer to wear it on my middle finger.

Jewelry Designer Rebekah Price Announces a Sale Event This Monday
Rebekah Prices is a jewelry designer based in Toronto whose brand Rebekah Price was established in 2007. The designer just announced a sale event that will take place this Monday, June 3rd – the annual summer sale event with a discount of 50% to 75% off.
The sale event will take place at Kultura restaurant downtown of Toronto, at 169 King Street East. The doors will open at 11am and close at 7pm. No RSVP is required to attend this sale event, so everybody is welcome to stop by and indulge in some exquisite jewelry. If you’re downtown Toronto this Monday, don’t miss this exciting opportunity!
I am definitely going to this sale event! What I have in my mind right now is to buy a statement ring, or maybe more than one ring (I have quite a few statement necklaces, but not so many rings, so this is a jewelry segment I would like to indulge in a little bit more), but I guess I will first see what this sale event has to offer, and then decide what I would like to buy if anything.

Men's collection from Swarovski, Fall-Winter 2013-2014
Recently I had the opportunity to attend a preview event for the new Swarovski collection for the upcoming fall season. I had already published a number of articles about the new collection on both my blog and my fashion column on Examiner.com where I featured jewelry and accessories for women; but today I would like to show you the men's collection -- pendants, bracelets, cuffs, rings, cufflinks, wallets, key rings, iPhone cases. The collection will be available in stores and online starting with August-September 2013.
