POEM: Sunset

I watch the sunset 

And I think about my departed love. 

You are beyond the horizon 

And I can’t see you anymore. 

I wish I could touch the sun 

When it touches the earth, 

 And I wish the horizon 

Could bring you back to me. 

But it’s only an illusion 

And I will never see you again. 

You are beyond the horizon 

And you are not coming back, 

My heart is lost into the darkness of the night.
