Pink Tartan este o creatoare de moda canadiana pe care o admir si o sustin de multi ani. De fapt, Pink Tartan este numele brandului sau, pe cand numele adevarat al creatoarei de moda din spatele acestui brand este Kimberley Newport-Mimran, sotia unui alt designer canadian, Joe Mimran. Ambii creatori de moda isi prezinta colectiile in fiecare sezon la Toronto Fashion Week. In primavara lui 2011 am avut ocazia sa vad o prezentare de moda Pink Tartan la Saptamana Modei din Toronto.
De curand ma aflam pe strada Bellair din cartierul Yorkville din centrul Toronto-ului, si am vazut acest magazin.
Este un magazin Pink Tartan, si de fapt aceasta este latura aditionala a magazinului, cu intrare din strada Bellair; pe cand intrarea principala a magazinului se afla pe strada 77 Yorkville Avenue, fatada cladirii la colt dintre Bellair si Yorkville.
Stiam vag de existenta magazinului Pink Tartan in cartierul Yorkville, si acum ca ma aflam in fata acestuia, m-am gandit ca ar fi o idee buna sa intru si sa-l vad. Nu era aglomerat, ceea ce mi-a permis sa stau de vorba cu angajatii magazinului, asistenta si managerul. M-am prezentat ca fiind blogger de moda, le-am dat o carte de vizita, iar dansii, foarte amabili, m-au lasat sa fac poze in magazin, pe care as vrea sa vi le arat mai jos.

This is Pink Tartan's store in Toronto, and she is one of our favorite designers in Canada, and her designs are so classy. A little bit pricey, :) but totally worth it. From all that I've seen in the store that day, I liked the white with black and blue print dress the most.
I also liked the bags, and I loved that although inspired by Hermes, they don't look like a Hermes copycat, while I have seen other more or less known brands literally copying the Hermes models, especially the Birkin model, which I hate when they do that.

DeleteRochia in dungi... dungi colorate... ca in copilaria mea. Rochia copilariei mele avea dungi pastelate, un material bumbac/panza de vara cu croiala asemanatoare, tot fara maneci. E a doua oara cand vad intr-o saptamana una si care imi aduce aminte, ba chiar acum imi cam pare rau ca am vandut-o.
