My New Book of Poetry "Sunset in Toronto", Available on Amazon

My dear friends and readers, I am extremely happy and excited to share some great news with you today  my new book of poetry, Sunset in Toronto, has just been released. The book was published in October 2021 and it is available on Amazon in Canada, the US, the UK, Continental Europe, and a few other countries where Amazon is available around the world. 

About the book

Sunset in Toronto by Canadian writer and poet Victoria West is a collection of delicate and sincere poems that explore themes such as love, family, loss, grief, disillusionment, writing, immigration, consumerism, Corona, our place in the world. The book is divided into three parts – Feelings, Experiences, Places; and it will take the readers onto a journey inspired by the author's life experiences, starting with her childhood until nowadays. 

About the author

Victoria West started writing about fashion in Toronto when she founded the blog in 2010, which later became She has written as a fashion contributor for various online and print publications in Canada, the US, and Romania. Victoria is the author of two books, Bits of Fashion (essays) published in 2013, and Sunset in Toronto (poetry) published in 2021. Originally from Europe, Victoria West has been a resident of Toronto for many years now, where she lives with her husband and son.

Noua mea carte de poezii “Sunset in Toronto”, acum pe Amazon

Dragii mei prieteni si cititori, astazi sunt foarte incantata sa anunt publicarea noii mele carti de poezii Sunset in Toronto, care acum este disponibila pe Amazon in editie tiparita si ebook, in Canada, SUA, Marea Britanie, unele tari din Europa Continentala, Australia, Japonia, si alte tari din lume unde Amazon este disponibil.
Stiu ca ati vazut deja comunicarile pe care le-am postat pe Facebook despre carte in ultimele doua luni, si va multumesc din suflet pentru reactiile pe care le-ati avut de cand am anuntat prima oara ca volumul va fi publicat in aceasta toamna – toate like-urile, share-urile, comentariile, felicitarile si incurajarile pe care mi le-ati acordat pe Facebook si Instagram inseamna enorm pentru mine; dar am vrut sa impartasesc vestea si aici pe blog. 

In ultimul an nu am scris foarte mult pe blog, caci am fost ocupata sa scriu o carte. Mi-a luat un an sa scriu si sa public volumul de poezii – prima poezie a fost scrisa in septembrie 2020, si am completat manuscrisul in august anul acesta, dupa care a urmat editarea si pregatirea manuscrisului pentru publicare in urmatoarele doua luni. Si iata ca in sfarsit cartea este publicata! Data oficiala a publicarii a fost 28 octombrie 2021, dar a mai durat cateva zile pana cand cartea a devenit vizibila pe Amazon, si acum sunt pregatita sa impartasesc vestea cea mare cu familia, prietenii si cititorii mei! 

Volumul Sunset in Toronto contine 100 de poezii care sunt imbinate in trei parti – Feelings, Experiences, Places; iar temele despre care scriu in aceasta carte sunt iubire, familie, pierdere si durerea pierderii, dezamagiri, scris, cartile din viata noastra, emigrare, consumerism, Corona, locul pe care il ocupam in lume. Daca prima mea carte Bits of Fashion, publicata in 2013, a fost dedicata familiei mele, de data aceasta am dedicat noua mea carte Sunset in Toronto mamei mele pe care am pierdut-o in 2016. 

De asemenea, am fost incantata sa citesc prima recenzie care a fost scrisa pentru cartea mea Sunset in Toronto, semnata de Iulia Miclea, colega mea de scris, blogger la Revista Tango Marea Dragoste. Recenzia poate fi citita pe blogul Iuliei, daca nu ati citit-o deja. 

Multumesc Iulia pentru o recenzie atat de calda si cuvintele frumoase pe care mi le-ai adresat, si ma bucur nespus ca ti-a placut cartea!
