Swarovski si TIFF la Toronto

In fiecare an in luna septembrie la Toronto se desfasoara TIFF, festivalul international de film din Toronto, sau Toronto International Film Festival. Este cel mai important eveniment cinematografic al anului din Canada, iar anul acesta TIFF se afla la cea de-a 37-a editie. Festivalul a inceput joia trecuta, pe 6 septembrie, si se va incheia duminica, pe 16 septembrie. TIFF inseamna nu doar film, dar si moda, glamour, vedete, si o atmosfera fabuloasa de sarbatoare si distractie la Toronto timp de 11 zile.

In fiecare an zeci de vedete de la Hollywood vin la Toronto pentru festivalul TIFF, si anul acesta nu este o exceptie. Scena sociala din Toronto devine hectica in timpul festivalului si un numar foarte mare de evenimente mondene sunt organizate cu aceasta ocazie. In cadrul fiecarei editii a festivalului TIFF Swarovski organizeaza un show-room de moda unde le invita pe vedete pentru a inchiria sau cumpara bijuterii si accesorii spre a fi purtate pe Covorul Rosu in timpul evenimentelor TIFF, dar si pentru alte evenimente glamoroase.

Show-room-ul Swarovski din cadrul festivalului de film TIFF din acest an s-a aflat la cea de-a 7-a editie. Daca pana anul trecut evenimentul a fost organizat la hotelul Four Seasons din Toronto, in acest an Swarovski a organizat acest eveniment plin de glam la noul hotel Shangri La din centrul Toronto-ului (188 University Avenue), iar pentru mine este cel de-al treilea an consecutiv cand vizitez show-room-ul Swarovski deschis in timpul zilelor TIFF la Toronto.

Evenimentul a durat 6 zile, in perioada 6-11 septembrie. Am vizitat show-room-ul chiar in ziua cand s-a deschis, pe 6 septembrie, impreuna cu o prietena. In timpul acestei expozitii au fost prezentate bijuterii si accesorii din noua colectie de toamna-iarna 2012-2013 “Kingdom of Jewels” care a fost lansata in magazine de curand (luna trecuta); dar si o colectie unicat denumita “Catwalk Collection”, o colectie care si-a facut aparitia pentru prima si singura data in Canada, exclusiv in timpul zilelor TIFF. Colectia “Catwalk” nu va fi disponibila in magazine. De asemenea, show-room-ul Swarovski de la hotelul Shangri La a prezentat o colectie de bijuterii si accesorii dedicata aniversarii de 50 de ani a francizei James Bond, o colectie care a fost creata in colaborare cu designerul de bijuterii Stephen Webster, si care se numeste "Skyfall Bond 007".

Celebrities Wearing Swarovski at TIFF

It’s September again, and Toronto International Film Festival is in town now! The festival kicked off on Thursday night, September 6, and will last through Sunday, September 16. Eleven days of film, glamour and celebrities in our fabulous city of Toronto, so don’t stay at home, go out and have some fun!

A-list celebrities came to Toronto this year for TIFF, just like they do every year in September. Who’s in town for TIFF this year? Ben Affleck, Javier Bardem, Halle Berry, Emily Blunt, Jackie Chan, Bradley Cooper, Penelope Cruz, Jonny Depp, Hilary Farr, Colin Firth, James Franco, Selena Gomez, John Goodman, Joseph Gordon-Lewitt, Ryan Gosling, Emily Hampshire, Keira Knightley, John Krasinski, Jude Law, Eva Mendes, Julianne Moore, Will Smith, Bruce Willis, and many-many others.

Red Carpet was adorned with beautiful outfits and exquisite accessories, and Swarovski is definitely no stranger to TIFF, TIFF celebrities and TIFF related events. Emily Hampshire and Hilary Farr were spotted wearing Swarovski accessories during these glamorous TIFF days.

Expozitie de masini de lux la Toronto

Intr-o vineri dimineata cand mergeam spre serviciu, o fata care impartea fluturase mi-a pus in mana unul din acele fluturase atunci cand am trecut pe langa ea. Vorba vine “fluturas”, ca asa ne-am obisnuim sa numim acele hartii care ne sunt inmanate pe strada de oamenii care se ocupa de distribuirea lor; dar de fapt era un catalog de prezentare a unei colectii de masini de lux.

Cand am ajuns la birou, am rasfoit acel catalog, si am aflat ca era vorba de o expozitie de masini deschisa in lobby-ul unui zgarie-nori din centrul Toronto-ului, la cateva minute de locul meu de munca. Expozitia era deschisa in decursul acelei saptamani, iar in acea vineri era ultima sa zi de prezentare. Si m-am gandit, daca tot e ultima zi in care masinile astea frumoase si luxoase sunt expuse acolo, hai sa merg si eu sa le vad.

Am mers la expozitie in timpul pauzei de pranz. Expozitia cuprindea marci americane, europene si asiatice – Lexus, Porsche, Aston Martin, Rolls Royce, Hyundai, Land Rover, Infiniti, Audi, si altele.

Va arat mai jos aceste frumuseti.
